The Love Journey of Lakshmi
There are some stories that I am reading.
About women, where they find a partner, that is already in a relationship with another woman.
I am always amazed, because I always read that every single woman in these stories are telling that ‘they shouldn’t be doing that’.
However they continue, because there are stories outthere where the man chooses to be with ‘the other woman’. And this is something they are holding on to.
Lately my mind goes to the word commitment.
What that means and how that looks like in life. Perhaps it is not only about being committed, but even more about what happens before.
Binding.
I believe circumstances can lead to not doing something, or being capable of doing something. We speak of a block. When it comes to writing it is more obvious. But perhaps the circumstances are not always the reason for the block. Let me put it like that.
But I think a lot of people are blocked. In many ways. Even without the circumstances.
And even without knowing. Not only the ones that are facing the writer’s block.
I was thinking of myself. Of the things I was writing. Not specifically something.
Ok, maybe just something.
I was thinking of my love life. Is it possible to have a block in Love? Or perhaps even ‘A Lover’s Block?’
‘You are gorgeous’.
He said it to me a couple of times.
The first time, he said it to get my attention.
The second time, because I didn’t respond.
‘Can we talk about it later?’ is what I heard.
It sounded exactly as serious as it was meant to be.
I was in the common area of the toilet.
