The love for a city is perhaps a bit unknown.
We say : ‘I love New York’ and ‘I AMsterdam’.
A known love or a heart’s desire.

There is something with Lisbon.
Hidden in Europese’s corner.
Found by digital nomads, where life is meant to pass by as they like.
The Portuguese people ignore what kind of life they are up to.
I wonder.
Where do I belong in this crowd?
I am just Lakshmi.
As my journey of love is not always about the way of love.
It is without a doubt, whatever my heart wants to express is open to be read.
I feel my time in Lisbon will come to an end, new chapters are waiting.
How can it not be?
I wonder.
Is there really no way for me to stay?
Can I not postpone just a little?
Or is the postponing a sign of what I already know.

The question mark remains, as the process of detaching is sometimes a bit painful for the heart.
To be honest, the city has so much.
The joy when I see those Portuguese drinking their coffee before going to work.
A little sparkle raises my eyes, when I see some of them having their beers and wines when I go back home.
Even if it is 10 at night.
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
The softness of the winter sun.
The bricks in the streets that ruin my heels.
Perhaps it was just what my eyes needed to see, my skin needed to feel.
A fulfillment of the soul.
I don’t know if there is love in this city.
However.
I love to see if it one day will.
