A question I have asked myself lately.
Can a love relationship bring forward what we are seeking?
Which can be many, perhaps even multiple things.
Perhaps it is just contemporary, something I am saying to myself.
An insecurity I guess, hidden in those words.
What else could it be?
It brought me to this story I once wrote : “Is having a love relationship important?”
On how Japanese people start having a relationship first, before going on a first date.
Where a relationship is giving this frame, perhaps even solid ground.
Doing the things expected when it comes to a relationship, whatever that truly holds.
It made sense to me in some way.
A follow up on that previous story “What is the start of a love relationship?”
Perhaps exactly why this question I had was popping up.
‘Can a love relationship bring forward what we are seeking?’
Because we can come together and do those things of what we believe is a relationship.
However, that doesn’t make it one.
At least not for me.
Just an experience I had or something I am leaving behind.
Something I am telling in my story : “A feeling of ‘love disappointment’”.
Where this question is showing again in front of my eyes.
‘Can a love relationship bring forward what we are seeking?’
It has to do with the phase I am going through, where I am falling into a relationship.
If it is love related is the question, perhaps it is just contemporary.
What for me is not a doubt, nor something I regret.
I can live with that, even if I am saying that just to myself.
I guess the answer to that question ‘Can a love relationship bring forward what we are seeking?’ is still unknown.
Something I don’t mind.
Where I can stay on this cloud I am on and watch the world from above.
Minding my own business, thinking about what that answer could be.
I guess a nice place to be, even if that is a bit imaginary.
Which says all about me and this love journey I am on.
But to answer that question, which kept popping in my mind and returned in front of my eyes.
I believe the question is not if a love relationship can bring forward what we are seeking.
It isn’t a negative.
I believe a love relationship is necessary to end that journey of what we are seeking and wanting.
Longing for long after.
I want to add, it doesn’t have to be love.
Contemporary would also do the trick I think, or just something I feel.
Love is so much already.
We don’t want to scare away what is in store for us.
Keeping it nice and simple.
Contemporary would be just that.
I believe a contemporary relationship would just give frame to that feeling of wanting and what more.
It isn’t necessarily bound to something we are seeking or are in search for.
Which means a contemporary relationship brings forward what is necessary for our heart and everything else that is important.
