When I say engaging, I am always thinking in the way before marrying someone.
Engagement, the time leading up to the wedding.
I was on my instagram and my perception about engagement changed.
Where I came to realize, there are more meanings to that word.
I had the feeling I had enough, for people to show and perhaps even wanting to know a little bit more about me.
Where they could follow me on that social platform.
The start of an investigation time, to see what to do.
The way it is mentioned on the social platform is quite easy.
Things the algorithm is looking at, to have more visibility.
Comments, likes and shares.
Then there is, engaging with your audience.
The word engaging caught my attention.
‘What does that mean, in this context?’ I questioned myself.
I am still in the process of finding out, I believe engaging means more than what we already know.
I think we need to understand how we act, what we do and to who we are talking to.
Who we are engaging with, so to say.
The meaning I gave to that word, which came to me where I had a feeling of having enough.
For people to show and perhaps even wanting to know a little bit more about me.
And so it happened, I stopped talking to some people.
I can’t tell if it was due to the words I was reading in search of getting more followers.
Something in me was triggered, in a positive way, to start acting in the proper way of engagement closer to what I know, or what it could be.
I believe it is a bit of a gray area there, of what came first.
The point I’d like to make, engagement means we are aware who we are talking to, as an example.
I guess that is the start of it.
Bringing this awareness about talking, can change our reality of leading the way of what engagement is.
Isn’t that romantic?
To me it made sense it starts with the understanding who we are engaging with.
It could even be I didn’t know this, because I was engaging with the wrong people.
Where it was messing with my head.
What I mean, it can elevate you in a way where it would be raising your vibration, by engaging the right way.
Doesn’t that sound fabulous?
For the simple reason you are engaging with yourself.
Understanding who you are talking to, who you are spending your time with.
Perhaps after engaging in this way, more people will follow you on that social platform.
Where of course I hope one day I will be engaged, with the knowledge of that time before the wedding.
