‘I don’t miss you, in case you thought that’.
Then out of nothing I heard the door.
Someone was leaving the house.
I listened a bit more and heard footsteps going down the stairs.
Loneliness had just left my house.
The Love Journey of Lakshmi
‘I don’t miss you, in case you thought that’.
Then out of nothing I heard the door.
Someone was leaving the house.
I listened a bit more and heard footsteps going down the stairs.
Loneliness had just left my house.
It was something that he mentioned.
That opened my ears.
He said that he could predict who we were going to get married to.
I was intrigued, perhaps just a little interested.
To keep that distance.
For me to find my own answer.
Not getting influenced by his words.
Being safe in my own time and space.
And so I listened.
To what he had to say about that.
‘You know’. Is how I started.
I needed some time to think about what I wanted to say.
What he had told me was very personal and I could see he was still trying to understand for himself what he actually had said.
His face was looking down.
We were sitting a bit apart from each other.
I was looking at him.
