Why is a relationship important for the stories and not just for myself?
A question my psychologist asked when I told her I think a relationship is going to help with my breakthrough with my love stories.
The question did make me feel off guard a little bit and I believe it was fair to ask.
Perhaps it was exactly how I should feel, to make sure it was being pushed where it belonged.
I said, “I am writing about love, a relationship would give me that credibility”.
Or perhaps just for the outside, is what I am thinking now.
It doesn’t sound that romantic, honestly.
“I am just exploring the option that is helping me in the process”.
“Of course I don’t know if this outcome would be true and helpful”.
Something I said outloud.
And so this question that she asked me, would make me look at this again.
Why is a relationship important for the stories and not just for myself?
I believe the answer should be close to its reality.
To the stories I am writing, that is giving me the breakthrough.
I don’t know if a relationship would have the same value or even a matching energy, that is helping me breakthrough.
And so I am disconnecting my breakthrough from a relationship, because as I said.
We don’t know if that is the value that is making it happen.
The stories should be enough, perhaps without interference.
Meaning that it shouldn’t be connected to a relationship as an example.
I believe a relationship would be beneficial in the process, however its weight might be a little too much.
Something less heavy, like dating would be more suitable.
Perhaps even matchting the energy of my love stories.
Where it is connected with men, since that is the type I fall for, however the main factor remains my love journey. Which I believe this is how it should be.
The importance of the relationship still remains and can have a bit more space, not suffocated with any kind of interference.
Which obviously goes both ways.
I believe a relationship is important for the stories to tell what it wants to say and make the world know what kind of love there exists.
There it is connected with my journey of love instead of anything else.
Where I found a base that is the weight it should carry and I believe it is nice for people to read.
