The sun was coming through between the buildings.
I could feel it touching my face.
We were sitting on the terrace.
The terrace was looking down a bit down at the street.
There was a man with his dog, talking to some other guy.
I overheard one of them speaking about some things.
They were both drinking some beers.
We were also talking.
However, we were drinking red wine.
We were expressing what we were feeling.
The tension of our hearts needed to be released.
The dog was walking around.
He even came to us.
I petted him and he decided to lay under my legs.
Until there was a pigeon that caught his eye.
The dog was still young and he had a lot of energy.
I couldn’t have guessed it any other way.
“What is his name?” I asked.
One of the guys answered me.
It was a friendly voice and we started to talk a bit more.
In the middle of a sentence he said something about his girlfriend.
From my perspective that wasn’t really friendly.
Of course it could be he wanted to make it clear he was taken, although I was doubting it a little bit.
He spoke about her twice.
My mind was questioning what was happening.
All I could think of it, after he mentioned her, without her being present.
My vibes were probably saying ‘I am single’.
Although I wasn’t bothering him with it.
I don’t even think that was something he was feeling.
Of course a simple talk can lead to something more.
Then again, he isn’t that advanced, to understand all of this in the time we were talking, to gain that perspective.
Because, simply he was mentioning his girlfriend.
He did said goodbye when he left.
With his dog of course, perhaps going to his girlfriend.
