‘Why don’t we skip the common..?’
He wrote to me on this dating app.
‘What do you mean I asked him?’
‘Let’s meet..’
I received it almost immediately.
I went to his picture and clicked on it.
He was half naked on most on the pictures.
I went to his description.
‘Fun, Sex’
‘Hmm..’, is what I thought.
I was thinking about my own description.
‘Just for meeting people, drinks, nice conversations’.
Of course I knew that he wasn’t intending the same, but I wanted to test it.
‘For coffee..?’
I send back to him.
I went to work and didn‘t give it much attention.
A few hours later, I checked my phone again.
The guy had unmatched me.
It wasn’t a surprise to me.
Apparently it wasn’t the same, what we wanted.
It made me think.
If he couldn’t even say to me directly that he wanted to have sex, how could I have ever known that that was exactly what he meant?
At least if he had said to me he wanted to have sex, I could have give it a chance.
Of course he had put it in his description, but who reads those really?
A genuine question.
